This page discusses ideas for saving interactions in a general manner. One idea is that we grant users the ability to access the spreadsheet cell with a general handler and a special "set_function_port" method that allows users to interact with connected modules identified as input ports. See this screen capture for a more general implementation of the "Save Camera" functionality. Note that the implementation of the "Save Camera" button has been changed to call the general SaveParametersHandler.
